An exclusive community for Moonami clients
Moonami and OLT’s Community of Practice for Spring is an online teaching support community exclusively for Moonami clients. Members receive access to live online teaching support from facilitators who are active online educators, instructional designers, faculty developers, and experts in online learning.
This program is the perfect solution for clients seeking extra and ongoing online teaching support to carry us through an uncertain spring semester.
Topics discussed in the community include great practices in online teaching, approaches to instructional design, educational technology, and leveraging Moodle to engage learners.
Access is via a one-time fee for the spring semester (January 11 – April 30, 2021). A year-long community option will be made available next academic year.
Co-founders of OLT, Judith Dutill & Melissa Wehler will lead the COP where they share their passion for supporting faculty with design and delivery of effective online instruction.
Judith is an experienced online educator with 15+ years experience working & teaching in higher ed. An instructional designer for eLearning @ a large nonprofit health system. She’s passionate about bridging the digital divide, media literacy, communication, designing instruction, advancing elearning, peer connections, leveraging edTech, and accessibility. Recent work focuses on developing faculty multimodal literacies skillsets and effective speaking in digital contexts. Melissa is an Instructional designer/experienced online learning educator. Specializes in creating community in online courses, using collaboration online, and inclusive teaching practices. Worked in higher education for over a decade as faculty and administration. Now a full-time instructional designer at a private, liberal arts college.
